Look what I found!

Look what I found!

And that’s all the enthusiasm we require in our daily lives to be happy.
So lets look around. See the best in everyone and the best around us. There is so much happiness around us, and within us, why waste even a second being sad.

And now look what I found. A beautiful concept from this awesome person Hailey Bartholomew. Very inspiring. I absolutely loved it.

AND THE NEW YEAR COMES

The year starts. Welcome 2014!
And thats the calendar of happiness…

Idea behind the calendar: To mark all the happy days and create a form of it at the end of the year. And that’s your happy crystal of the year 2014 (the International Year of Crystallography) And at the end of the year, we all will share our crystals. That will be our joy-meter of 2014. I believe, with conscious efforts, we can make every day a happy day, so lets make it possible this year and get the most dense form.

My calendar is stuck on my cupboard. 😀
Where is your placed?

(P.S. The calendar is now for sale too. If you want to buy one or more, please leave a comment here or you can drop a mail at nitasha.bw@gmail.com)

CALENDAR ON THE CUPBOARD

BEHIND THE SET

1000 PRINTS! 4 DAYS! 10,000 DOTS AND STILL COUNTING!

Some disaster always finds it way, when things are made in bulk.
After printing 1000 copies of a year calendar, when you realise, the Saturday-Sundays are lost, the traditional tools: wooden hair stick, ink & dots come handy. 😉

Something Printed (with love!)

Few days back, I started to wonder, how wonderful it is when you get a post, a courier, a package, from your loved ones. I love getting a handwritten letter. It has its own feel and the fact you are getting something physically oh! what charm!
But this days, facebook posts, twitter tweets and emailers, have taken over. So I thought lets revisit post and decided to send something printed to friends, family and all my loved ones along with the wishes this year.

The brainstorming has started and its coming soon! 😀

Mirror it!

Happiness.
The state is only within!
The most important thing is to find a way through the barriers to that.
Like in the movie KungFu Panda, they called it ‘Inner Peace’

Master Shifu:…I have ever experienced. [he shudders at the thought.] But once I realized the problem was not you, but within me, I found inner peace and was able to harness the flow of the universe.

However strong and cheerful you are or not, there will be a time everyday/every week/ every month/ every year, when you feel low. I get that a lot. And finally I have found a way out of it. (Though it doesn’t work all the time, but what the hell, most of the times it does)

Find a mirror. Look at it, Stare at it. You will see a person in the mirror. De-attach yourself  from that person and start smiling.
The best part: the person in the mirror, guaranteed will smile back. Sometimes when you are in bad mood, the smile will be fake at first, but in few seconds it will be genuine. There it is! The inner peace. If you are lucky enough, you will end up laughing after sometime, everytime. Do give it a try. Keep doing it once in a while and you will feel the difference.

So lets start smiling away and MIRRORING IT. 🙂
Because peace is within, happiness is within!

Towards Happiness

“There are many things for which we cannot be grateful, but there is no moment for which we cannot be grateful, because in every moment, even difficult ones, we have the opportunity to do something.”
Brother David Steindl-Rast

Recently I came across this wonderful video on TED Talks.
Spreading happiness is what I swear on! Have a great day.
Want to be Happy? Be Grateful.
